Mavi Deniz is a market leader/world’s largest producer in the design and manufacture of multipurpose offshore oil recovery vessels.Mavi Deniz developed the unique Sea Barracuda, a multi-purpose offshore oil spill recovery vessel. Multi-Purpose offshore oil spill recovery vessel ( OSRV ) can be supplied already fitted with all the equipment necessary to implement efficient and quick oil cleanup operations at offshore.The versatile OSRV can be fitted with various types of response equipment so that it can be utilized in many different applications including boom deployment, firefighting, anchor/ buoy handling, towing, general work boat duties, monitoring, dispersant spraying, oil recovery, oily waste storage and disposal of micro-pollutants from the offshore sea areas.Sea Barracuda; The offshore type oil spill recovery vessel collects oils automatically from the sea with its rigid sweeping arms systems up to 5 sea state conditions. This uniquely designed, purpose-built offshore oil spill recovery vessel, is the only vessel capable of recovering oils from light diesel through to highly viscous crudes ( 1,000,000 Cst ).
