(9,100 kgs). In our 60+ years, a Brownell stand has never failed. Our products are widely utilized throughout the world to help people work more safely and more efficiently. Both our traditional blue painted finish or hot-dipped galvanized stands offer long-lasting durability. Our adjustable stands feature a precision-cut Acme threaded, solid steel center rod for easy adjustment even under load. They feature a vertical base with a top that swivels to 25-degrees to fit most hull shapes.The system is simple. Most of the vessel’s weight rests on its keel on either wood blocking or keel stands. The boat stands safely balance the load when used properly; one stand every 8’ – 10’ (3 meters) along each side of the boat.
